Panadería, the first issue of the At Heart cookbook zines, is a response to modern digital frustrations. The internet has been indispensable to my work as a bakery owner and writer. But after being online in some capacity since I was 14, and nearly a decade of independent and mostly digital recipe development work, I’ve grown weary from and bored of that work existing mostly online. I wanted to make something tangible that would endure.

This cookbook zine is a self-legitimization. A way to create the space I wanted for my own work, beyond traditional cookbook publishing and social media algorithms, and right into your in-real-life kitchens and zine collections.

Recipes include Masa Harina Focaccia, Coconut Atole Cake, Masa Harina Shortbread, Pink Cake, and an updated version of At Heart Panadería Conchas.

Each zine comes with an At Heart logo sticker, and will ship in December.
